The Propimax 3B is one of the most axially compact tubeaxial fans and is equipped with an aerodynamic venturi configured case. Utilizing the unique Rotron inverted motor construction the axial length of the fan is limited to the minimum measurement required by the highly efficient 4-blade propeller, with no further space sacrificed for the AC induction drive motor or the Brushless DC motor. DC drive electronics may be internal or external depending on the power requirements.
Tubeaxial fans are compact and quiet designs for cooling electronic enclosures under severe environmental conditions in airborne, ground based, and shipboard applications where air can move freely with low static pressure.
