This fan comprises a 140mm Axial Flow Fan impeller mounted on the shaft of a 4 pole induction motor. The motor is assembled into an integral motor/guide vane body which is assembled into the fan outer case which also incorporates the mounting flange. Designed to operate in highly erosive environments, the impeller blades are manufactured from steel and cast into the aluminium impeller hub. The outer case is chrome plated at the impeller track.
