This fan comprises a 140mm Axial Flow Fan impeller mounted on the shaft of a 6 pole induction motor, which is integral with the fan axial duct and downstream guide vanes. The fan case is flanged both end for mounting. The impeller and fan case are cast in high strength aluminium alloy. The Fan is fitted with thermal protection devices to provide switched output in the even to a failure.
